About Bernie Crosthwaite
Bernie Crosthwaite is a novelist, playwright and short story writer. The three crime novels in the Ravenbridge Trilogy – If It Bleeds, Body Language and The Hemp House, feature press photographer Jude Baxendale and are set in the north of England. Her plays have been performed in theatres from London to Largs, and on BBC radio. Several of her stories feature in anthologies, including The Golden Hour, which was shortlisted for the CWA Short Story Dagger Award. Bernie has worked as a newspaper reporter, a tour guide, and as a teacher of English and Creative Writing. She lives and works in North Yorkshire.
